Terms and Conditions
- A one-off enrolment fee of £30 is required upon enrolling at the school.
- Groups of 2, lessons are charged at £18.00 a lesson.
- Groups of 3 and more are charged at £15 a lesson (£18 for a 1 hour lesson)
- Individual tuition is charged at £21 a lesson.
- Additional courses will receive a 10% discount off the lowest price course (per student).
- The YMS Choir is free to all paying students.
- Lessons must be paid for on the 1st of each month through standing order.
- Late payments will be subject to a £10 charge.
- Standing orders run 11 months a year - September to July.
- Standing orders must be set up at the start of the new school year each September.
- Tuition fees are subject to change and are reviewed on an annual basis.
Lessons and Requirements
- Lessons are weekly though the school closes during some holidays and half terms.
- A list of term times is available at reception; it is the student's responsibility to keep up to date with our term times.
- Group lessons host a maximum of 6 students.
- Group lessons are 45 minutes in duration.
- Individual tuition is half an hour in duration.
- Any absences or cancellations made by the student cannot be credited or refunded.
- Lessons cancelled by the tutor will have either a substitute teacher or will be rearranged by the tutor for an alternative date. These lessons cannot be refunded.
- Students are required to give a minimum of 4 weeks written notice. Upon leaving a course you will need to pay these 4 weeks.
- On giving notice it is YOUR responsibility to cancel your standing order.
- The school is fully insured for public liability, but please note that parking your car on the school site is at your own risk.
- Parking directly outside of the school doors is not permitted.
- The latest terms and conditions will be published on the YMS Saltaire website and notice board.
- Photography of students will take place and used on School publicity and social media unless there is an objection from the parent/guardian.
- Terms and conditions are subject to change.
